LEGACY MAHOGANY BLACK CAT
In the tradition of Ludwig’s “Victorious” drums of the 1940s, the Legacy Mahogany Black Cat is our latest addition to the Vintage Select Collection. This Legacy Mahogany outfit features a new black stain finish with silver sparkle inlaid maple hoops finished in black. It is a limited offering in 2 of our most popular outfits and 6.5x14 snare drums (Sold Separately); Fab (Limited to 40), and Pro Beat (20). The iconic Ludwig sound coupled with aesthetics of yesteryear featuring our Special Edition “Enamel” badge.

ACRO SERIES SNARE DRUMS
Introducing a new era of Acrolite snare drums. Originally introduced in 1964, the Acrolite snare drum was developed as a student level Aluminum snare drum. It has gained prominence over the last 50+ years for its professional-level build standards and performance. The Acro Series is the next chapter of the Acrolite legacy with 2 new alloys: copper, and brass. They feature our 1-pc seamless phonic shell in a brushed finish. Adopting the format of the elusive NYC Board of Ed. 6.5"x14" Acrolite of 60’s/70’s, these drums feature a 10-twin lugs format for well-balanced tone and projection.

LUDWIG ’63 18-STRAND SNARE WIRES
Known for its projection and sensitivity, this snare wire was featured on one of drum’s most recognized snare drums: A 1963 Ludwig Jazz Fest Oyster Black Pearl Snare Drum. This is an 18-strand design with steel coils and chrome plated brass end with string and tab mounting slots. A perfect addition to any wood or metal snare drum.
