Dealer Spotlight: Fork's Drum Closet- Nashville, TN
Who thought drum shops would become this awesome?!?!
This past September,
Ludwig Drums was honored to be invited to the grand re-opening of Fork’s Drum
Closet in Nashville, TN. After more than 35 years of serving the drumming
community, August 1st, 2018 marked the passing of the torch from
Gary Forkum and his family to drum shop staple and community pillar Steve
Maxwell along with his business partner, drummer, and collector Elizabeth
Cabraser. The Maxwell’s and Cabraser have promised to continue serving
this market in the exact same way that the Forkums have for all of these years.
Fork’s has always supported the Ludwig brand, but this new spacious bi-level facility showcases dozens of Ludwig snare drums. This includes our famous Supraphonic metal drums, Classic Maple, and Rare Exotic series along with a full representation of Ludwig drum kits. You will find everything from the entry level import models all the way up to the Legacy Classic pro series kits, not to mention the amazing vintage selection. There is no shortage of cymbals, percussion, hardware and accessories either!
The grand opening festivities kicked-off on September 27th with featured clinics and performances by drumming/percussionist greats like Chester Thompson, Walfredo Reyes Jr, Steve Ferrone, Steve Jordan and more.
Under the new general manager and industry veteran Terry Bissette, you will find the same familiar faces just five minutes away, located at 308 Chestnut St. Nashville, Tn.
We have seen a lot of great drum shops and this new location offers a great selection, shopping experience, and top notch sales expertise. Visit them soon and say “hi” from the Ludwig team for us.
Enjoy!
