With over 15 years of experience in the music industry, Nate Barnes has performed live on stage with Pete Townshend (The Who), Warren Haynes, Leslie West (Mountain), Rose Hill Drive, Ryan Bingham, Grace Potter, Matisyahu, Mike Watt, and many others. He has toured the world headlining shows and opening for acts such as The Who, Van Halen, Aerosmith, Willie Nelson, Stone Temple Pilots, The Black Crowes, Queens Of The Stone Age, Jane’s Addiction, and more. In addition to collaborating and recording with legendary producers/engineers Brendan O’Brien and Nick DiDia, he has also co-produced and co-written 3 critically acclaimed, full length albums with the band Rose Hill Drive.
Nate has had his work placed with HBO, Ford, Nickelodeon, Victory Motorcycles, Dish Network, Polaris Jetskis, Re-Max, and many others. He has performed on national television (NBC’s Late Night With Conan O’Brien), and has had songs selected to be in video games (Guitar Hero 5, Tony Hawk Ride, Stubbs The Zombie). As a freelancer, he has played with artists such as Mary Chapin Carpenter and Ryan Bingham, and scored the movie "A Country Called Home" with Bingham and Daniel Sproul. He has logged countless hours in professional studios with Rose Hill Drive (writing, recording, and mixing over 200 songs), and has engineered and drummed on sessions for numerous other band’s projects. He played over 200 shows each year from 2003-2008, touring throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe. Specializing in Rock, Pop, Country, Americana, and Folk styles, Nate has earned a reputation as one of the premier drummers in the Rocky Mountain area
